Money clips are useful for keeping your bills together and in order, especially if you do not carry a wallet around with you. You can purchase these from many shops and supermarkets, but commercially made money clips often feature popular characters or phrases, and blank ones can be very difficult to find. Luckily, they are not difficult to make, and only require a small amount of time.
Mark the two pieces of leather to create a 4- by 1.5-inch square, or as close as possible. If you have purchased leather squares from a craft store, they may already be this size.
Glue one magnet to one end of the leather strip using a strong glue. You may need to hold the magnet in place until the glue has started to stick. Wait until the magnet is completely secure.
Glue the other magnet to the other end of the leather strip. Ensure the magnet will line up with the already stuck one. Again hold the magnet until the glue has begun to set, and wait until the magnet is stuck into place.
Place the magnets close so that they attract each other, and loop the fabric round. The money clip is now complete.
